First of all, to me at least, it doesn’t make sense that the “US Officials” could confirm a launch and explosion without having the exact location of the launch identified almost immediately. Secondly, we as tax payers spend a lot money for these kinds of systems and capabilities in the name of national security. They should work. And, I also suspect that after any missile launch, the U.S. has the instantaneous capability to track the vehicle that fired the missile to see where it goes.
As to who fired the missile, I don’t really know. However given the above, I suspect the U.S isn’t being honest and upfront about what they really know at this point. Any thoughts??????

Turmoil on the ground
